1. What is a Medical Marijuana (MMJ) card? A Medical Marijuana card is a state-issued identification card that allows patients with qualifying medical conditions to purchase medical marijuana from licensed dispensaries.

2. What are the qualifying conditions for a MMJ card in Rhode Island? Qualifying conditions typically include chronic pain, severe nausea, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and other debilitating conditions. For a complete list, please refer to the Rhode Island Department of Health’s guidelines.

3. How do I apply for a MMJ card? To apply for a MMJ card, you need to:

  • Gather your medical records
  • Schedule a consultation with a licensed MMJ provider
  • Complete an in-person evaluation
  • Submit your application to the Rhode Island Department of Health, including the recommendation letter from your provider, proof of residency, and application fee.

4. How long does it take to get a MMJ card? Once your application is submitted, it typically takes several weeks to process and receive your MMJ card in the mail.

5. What services do you offer for patients? We offer a range of services including MMJ card information, consultation services, and packages that include both consultation and evaluation from licensed MMJ providers.
